The obese woman who claim she is "obese" but not "obese"(?!?!) would be considered at risk with waist to height ratio even if she don't want to be "obese" because she don't like BMI.

They don't understand that meaning it indicates. The scale is created from patient data how often chronic illness occur in different size ranges. They even lowered the range for "obese" some years ago, not for being jerks but most likely because technological advancement have improved diagnostic procedure and notice when certain conditions occur. So they noticed that was previously in the upper range of "merely" overweight had a higher frequency of chronic illness.

@racheljane_ Yeah, it is a term that indicate risk of getting some sort of serious chronic illness. Even a bodybuilder who oversized themselves may have less cancerrisk because of the high muscle rate but their cardiovascular health and joints will take a punish by being oversize. For a human heart it is a lot of extra burden with a lot of extra tissue to push around the blood.

Agree. And this is a typical sign of how stupidity is intersectional. The favourite pastime for them claiming to foster inclusion is to start to redefine words and already established definitions, all that further remove them from their stated goal as their method is to only disturb communication and understanding. It's like the A3 song for Sopranos lead song"Woke up this morning ( your head was going ding dong and everything you had is gone!)"
