Odessa yes, Kiev no. Empire have created a 'Ukrainian' identity for decades, kicking into overdrive in the late 80's. It would be better for them to achieve actual sovereignty as a state along the lines of Belarus, and subsequent inclusion into the State Union after their figured their shit out. Thanks. Interesting discussion. Many truths. I missed Mr. Petro address the issue of Empire though. In my view it and its current elites, many Brezhnev look a likes, is the main obstacle to future progress and the inevitable shift from uni-polar hegemony to the multi-polar world.
