This is a huge mistake. In Donbas in East and in South are heavy Russian speakers who do not care who rules over them --- MEANING they do not care enough to only live under a Ukrainian government. They are five Km (few miles) away from the Russians advancing enemies. People like those who in purpose remain behind, do not care if they are ruled by the Russians and receive Russian passports and facilitate the take over by Russia of those lands. (Is not like in the North of Kyiv where Ukrainian language majority anti-Russia lives). The food and water you gave to those Russian minorities, will be taken away from them by the few miles away advancing Russians enemy soldiers, who will use that water and food and will gave to those remaining civilians Russian Passports (to Re-Russify the area and take them in the evidence of the Russian Federation by annexation like they did with Crimea. Instead of doing the Ukrainians a favor, in fact you end doing the opposite. You provide the advancing enemy with sources of clean bottled water and food that they will take by force from the civilians which should have been evacuated by force like Americans and other Westerners do from a war or flood area. Also the enemies will use those civilians, to establish new ruled Russian government for Russification of the land with locals on it (because without locals on it would be harder) to play propaganda and distribute Russian passports with citizenship and that way claiming the land as part of the Russian Federation. HUGE, HUGE MISTAKE WHAT THOSE WESTERNERS IMPOSE THEMSELVES TO DO. THE HELP SHOULD BE PROVIDED ONLY FOR THE REFUGEES FLEEING THE WAR ZONE -- OTHERWISE YOU ENCOURAGE MORE PEOPLE TO REMAIN BEHIND AND HOPE FOR SUCH AID.
