  6.  @elchinas  The West, particularly the US & UK, wanted the riots (sorry, "peaceful protests" as always described by Western media) in Hong Kong, 2019- 20, to try and cause China to bring in the PLA. Then the US & UK would have claimed that China could not run Hong Kong properly. They also wanted to discredit the One Country, Two Systems policy to discourage people on Taiwan from agreeing to a similar concept for their Province. These people encouraged violence and would not condemn it, see the interview with Joey Siu on "DW". As is standard in any attempted "color revolution" the leaders claimed they had only resorted to violence following the actions of the police. This was despite it being obvious that they were ready for such violence. It is rather amusing that Canada resorted to brutality towards protesters, and went so far as to freeze banks accounts, after nothing like the vicious anarchy that happened in Hong Kong. And all Western countries have some version of the Hong Kong National Security Law on their books already. Typical Western interference and hypocrisy.
