  1. That makes a lot of sense. Idol does mean a deity of worship...they should be untouchable but then resulting in unreasonable expectations...maybe idol was the wrong term to use..

Think of it this way, fans support “idols” like sugar daddy’s and mommy’s 😂 if the idol is dating, then their gf or bf should be supporting them and fans will not feel the need to spend so much money , time and effort on them if they are already taken and you no longer fan girling over single guys and girls- mentality of insane fans lol. The difference in North America, etc is artist aren’t marketed the same way...but those guys are 10000000% right - ruins the fantasy

Whalien 134340 it is a shame too..I find it sucks the most for musicians and composers..cause even audition process doesn’t put those first...it is just looks, dance and vocal...and if your lucky some of these people end of finding a passion for composing..but ya. We need to stop idolizing idols and celebrities...
