@MrLee-gj2jz : If you find the criticism of modis sudden declaration of lockdown as a moronic joke than pls listen to what Modi replied when asked as to why is he not declaring a lock down now. Modi now isn’t in favour of lockdown because it causes economic losses this also means that he agrees that the last years unplanned lockdown was a big mistake. Nobody wld disagree that lockdown was very effective in containing Covid but it should hv been done with proper planning and in a phased manner keeping in mind social hardships and economic losses n not like the way Modi announced demonetisation.

But pl explain how could the pm declare as recently as January that the world shld take India’s example in containing the virus when actually the number of positive covid patient were more than any other country but only due to lack of testing the true figures got suppressed. It’s now getting revealed that the actual figures were downplayed only to prevent the cancellation of (1) kumbh so as to appease the Hindu vote bank and (2) bengal elections. This indicates that either the govt was aware of the second wave but just didn’t bother to safeguard its citizens or it was outsmarted by covid second time in a year. This is the same govt whose pm was busy organising ‘ Abki baar trump sarkar ‘ even in the midst of Corona banging at its door as early as December 2020. In fact a failed state like Pakistan has done better in containing Covid than the wannabe super power that is India. Your claim that the bjp govt was aware of the imminent arrival of the second wave of Corona and it had pre warned certain states stands faltered from the fact that had that been the case than no government wld have risked the life of its own citizens by exporting / donating vaccines to other nations. But if bjp has deliberately preferred exporting vaccines despite being aware of the consequences than this whole government should be tried for slaughtering its own citizens. The lackadaisical approach of this govt again got exposed when suffering Indians were crying Modi-O-Modi the pm was seen electioneering without mask, gloating at the massive attendance and busy singing Diddi-O-Diddi.....

@MrLee-gj2jz ; No one in the world had announced that Corona has vanished and many countries were therefore on their guard and ready to deal with the predicted second waves, so when it was difficult to predict the growth of pandemic why did Modi went around declaring victory over Corona only to be caught napping and making India a laughing stock for the world so much so that today even Bangladesh has closed its borders with India anticipating spreading of Corona from Bengal where Modi invited gullible citizens to attend his rallies. You write about the Centre allowing the states to manage conrona but the fact is that Modi govt had withheld authority on important aspects thereby not letting states to function effectively. Since this government is known to lie even to the highest court of India Kejriwal took no chances and quietly broadcasted the PM meeting with CMs so that the duplicity of this govt gets exposed before all. How disturbed was Modi with Kejriwal was evident from his openly chiding of Kejriwal just for a minor gaffe. Had Modi showed even minimum guts and capability to hold press conferences, just as how even a maverick like Trump had, there wouldn’t had been any need for Kejriwal to do what he did. Modi is the only pm of a democratic nation who has a dubious distinction of being afraid of the press so much so that he hasn’t even faced a single press conference since 7 years as pm (and 15 years as CM ). It’s a blessing in disguise that the States were on their own managing Corona otherwise the devastation would hv been in multiples of what we hv witnessed because bjp as an opposition in non-bjp states would had distributed Remdesivir n other covid-medicines through its party offices instead of the state government apparatus like how Devendra phadnavis tried to do in Maharashtra but was caught without clothes.

@MrLee-gj2jz : The essence of Indian bureaucratic system is neutrality wherein every civil servant is expected to be apolitical and remain committed to the constitution. In order to ensure this neutrality the recruitment system was designed accordingly so that the bureaucracy remain under the command of the president and not the prime minister. This system gave the bureaucrat the required sense of independence to implement the policies of the government so long as they are in consonance with the constitution. This system did not prevent taking experts advice and involving them in policy formulation, hope you remember how Rajeev Gandhi started the communication and information technology revolution in India. Lateral entry will only help politicians to place their yes-men into the bureaucracy and these jokers will never be able to oppose the wrongs of their political masters but instead will be more than willing to assist their political masters in looting the country as they would be owing their posts and profs to the politicians and not to the Constitution. Their might be flaws in the current recruitment system but good administrators take time to develop just as a doctors, engineers, advocates and other specialists take after completing their courses and they all remain rookies till they acquire sufficient experience. The only reason this govt has favoured lateral entry is to have a subservient bureaucracy of yes-men who could be used as a tool to implement their hidden unconstitutional agenda.

So now you have to accept that either you are peddling a lie or Pakistans attacks were all at the request of bjp as they were all timed to coincide with some elections or the other; the generosity of Imran Khan in returning the captured pilot shld also be seen in the light of these attacks because had the pilot remained in the custody of Pakistan than Modi would hv found it difficult to go electioneering although bjp would had still won the elections Thanks to EVM. Intl diplomacy demands that relationships are forged with nations and not with political parties therefore it was modis utter foolishness to have publicly declared his preference for an individual/ political party and thereby inviting the wrath of the present dispensation. That same maverick -who Modi had foolishly supported publicly ‘abki baar Trump sarkar’ - even had the audacity to force Modi publicly at gunpoint to meekly agree to ship hydroxychloroquin to the US at the cost of the health of Indian citizens. So don’t blame Biden for he understands his responsibility towards his citizens as against Modi who foolishly parted away with huge stocks of vaccines endangering the lives of the people of his own nation.

@MrLee-gj2jz : Press conference is given only by those ppl who are in know of their govt and are sincerely involved in governance & not by those who are being despatched to foreign locales and called back only for electioneering. Press conference is a tool to ask direct questions to the premier on behalf of the governed, it also acts as an alternative to the possibility of the consequences of the opposition party getting managed or subdued by brute majority achieved either by fair means like Rajeev Gandhi in 1984 (although he rode on the emotional wave) or by tempered EVM. So please give Modi some confidence to face the press so that the ppl wld know the facts from the horses mouth instead of the contradictory statements made by his various ill mouth, ill tempered and clueless spokespersons

@MrLee-gj2jz : In Maharashtra if there’s any community which indulges in hoarding, black marketing, tax evasion, collecting taxes from public and paying only 10% to state govt than those are the non-marathis n prominent amongst them are the Gujaratis, Marwadis, Sindhis, punjabis ...and all of them are hard core bjp vote banks. Even the majority of chemist in Maharashtra belong to these communities so if there’s anybody doing black marketing in Maharashtra than it is these jokers and anti nationals. The MBA isn’t a paragon of virtue but they know whom to squeez and when unlike the bjp who does black marketing through its shakhas and party offices : Gautam Gambhir & Phadanvis type ..

Y the election muscat of bjp hd to put up the photos of those martyrs while electioneering if the govt was so sure abt its performance....Y when China attacked India in ladhak and slaughtered the soldiers the death of the Bihari soldiers was highlighted during bihar assembly elections .....Immi might b a puppet of paks army just as its previous pms but in India all organs of the constitution and the defence forces hv become the puppet of the bjp ....The taking away of the rights of the high courts to decide on covid matters by the retiring CJ in lure of some post retirement lollipop is the case in point...( I don’t know whether u were born that time when HCs played important role in protecting the constitution and human rights against indiras emergency, hence the present govt out of the fear of the HC preemptively used this CJ bobade to scuttle any such possibility just when the High Courts had begun to whip the govts into covid-action to the chagrin of the bjp)

@MrLee-gj2jz : You have conveniently glossed over the Corona-havoc in bjp ruled states like Gujarat, UP, MP etc....Even a primary school student would suggest against organising mass gatherings like Kumbh where ppl from all states are expected to visit and spread the virus to their states on return including from the non-bjp ruled states, which as you claim were forewarned by the centre. It has now being reported that these kumbh-karyakartas have become Corona-carriers to all parts of India and very soon their effects would surface. The election commission is a puppet of the ruling dispensation so its very convenient for bjp to scapegoat them and shield itself from the brickbats its receiving from all corners for holding elections in the midst of a sever pandemic. This irresponsible behaviour of an uneducated pm and his cabinet full of his bhakts is being severely criticised by world press and govts across continents. Biden must have definitely thought that why help a irresponsible pm, who foolishly conducts elections rally’s and religious gatherings and than begs for raw materials for vaccines, at the cost of the health of his own population

@MrLee-gj2jz : When Europe was experiencing its 2nd wave during December wasn’t it time for India to anticipate and prepare for its one ....The second wave was predicted - for all - on the basis of the behavioural tendency of the virus even at the time when the 1st wave had just appeared on the scene, so on what basis this govt presumed that India with all its propensity to invite all kind of diseases / epidemics would remain insulated from the 2nd wave. With its dilapidated and creaking health infrastructure and burgeoning population anybody could have predicted the havoc the second wave would cause if India were to let its guard down, but blinded by the tendency to self-congratulate the Modi govt, assisted by the yes men in the bureaucracy and Godi-media, started roaming about declaring victory even before playing the match. If India was lucky to dodge the first wave with minimum damage comparatively than it was only because of the strict implementation of lockdown by the state governments and whatever mess that got created during that lockdown was only because of the central governments ill-prepared and sudden declaration of lockdown. The Modi government was a fool to believe that announcing a lockdown is as similar to announcing demonetisation taking everybody by surprise and giving no time to plan out.

Its a fact that every country big or small, rich or poor could not prevent Covid-death but the alacrity with which the European and even south Asian nations geared themselves up to take on the predicted second Corona-wave clearly indicates differences in efficiency between them and Modi government the formers were busy strategising and focussed on health care and hospitals whereas the latter was busy building temples and their pm genuflecting before a god who did not show up even when he was needed the most.
