When PV Narasimha Rao was checkmating pawar by harassing Pawar’s corrupt cronies like pappu kalani and others besides resorting to exposing Pawar’s alleged relationship with dawood through CM Sudhakar Naik and some members of the press, Sharad pawar got unsettled as his political career was under severe threat and he allegedly responded by orchestrating the infamous Hindu-Muslim riots post babri demolition and through his friends in the media and other political parties was also successful in replacing Naik as CM by painting Naik as an inefficient CM incapable to handle riots. As defence minister pawar allegedly also delayed the despatching of the defence forces to quell the riots. So after replacing Naik, Pawar got swiftly engaged in damage control by suppressing all investigations against his cronies. It is also alleged owing to his alleged closeness to dawood that pawar was instrumental in the serial Mumbai bomb blast of 1992 ….

  2. All this is hogwash : bjp ss congress & ncp all are playing a game to fool the public. All these parties in Maharashtra are controlled by the powerful moglai-maratha lobby and they all are hard core casteist manuvadis. When Ajit Pawar’s involvement in the dam scam got exposed and bjp came to power, no action was taken against AP and his uncle SP also offered support to bjp if SS were to move out of the coalition. In the subsequent assembly election even though BJP won maximum seats they did not press to form the govt otherwise they wld have been forced to take criminal action against AP. Therefore to save AP a drama was played out wherein the bjp-governor got phadnavis sworn as the CM on the wee hours of the morning and AP was sworn in as Deputy CM; on the very same day and taking advantage of the diverted public attention towards the political turmoil, a notification was issued hurriedly absolving AP from all the charges of corruption in the irrigation scam and after a few days AP quit from the coalition and returned to NCP to form coalition govt with SS & Congress. So when it comes to safeguarding the interests of the manuwadis all these manuwadi parties forget their differences and go to any extent to save each other. In view of the above it is very easy to predict that the SS will move out of the MVA and form govt with bjp with tacit support of the congress and ncp …..
