@Oldest Men No need for that, ss all ships are sanctioned carrying Russian oil, shipping insurances included. Therefor those ships can't go into any ports, because no port accepts ships without insurance.

@Chris Mitchell The EU has already an anti corruption task force, but for people and companies, not for countries, which will be installed now.

@oldestmen5163 In the first days after those sanctions (oil tankers/ ship insurances), distribution of Russian oil dropped by 50%, even China and India are involved now, eventhough they are not part of those sanctions. It was in the news, just read up about it, the sanctions are working.

@KittenBowl They are sending aid the whole time, this was just another meeting to agree on the next lot. Btw, "things/items" get sent directly to the people, like heating, water, generators/cables, warm clothes, medication, etc

@KittenBowl1 I would think, that they are asking everybody who is willing to help. Most citizens from the helping countries do private donations, like collecting clothes etc. You're asking why they still need more clothes? Well, as it's war over there, nothing is "running" properly anymore, and still they all need many more clothes, as they, like all/ most of us, don't wear just the same one day in day out and lots gets destroyed as well due to "action". Things/items will be bought with that money, like generators/cables/diesel/ light bulbs, water supply, repairing things like roof/windows etc, medication, food, warm clothes etc, distributed by the aid organisations ...
