Poland is the bordering country! Problem is, that Belarus and Kaliningrad/Russia are between the shortest way towards any ports at the Baltic Sea, therefor it has to go through Poland to reach a port, which was the original plan, and then ship it over to North Africa, where it's urgently needed. But obviously greed has taken over by Polish (??) merchants ..

The Ukrainian wheat was supposed to go to North Africa, where it's urgently needed. The plan was (and was agreed on by Poland), that it gets used as "transit" towards Polish ports, where the wheat gets onto ships towards Africa. But somehow various Polish (or other) merchants decided to buy the cheaper Ukrainian wheat (eventhough it's not allowed in the EU, because Ukrainian farmers are using pesticides which aren't allowed in the EU since decades. It should get sorted soon by the EUs Commission.

Which was/ is the original plan, but obviously some greedy merchants (Polish or other) decided to buy/sell that stuff, eventhough it's not allowed in the EU because of pesticides, which aren't allowed in the EU anymore. Edit typo/autocorrect

@SpiritHigh_bottled_kind As usual, greed eats brain! May be it would be helpfull to "guide" the transports towards the ports, so nobody could buy/sell the wheat...

@guruxara7994 You're funny 🤔 As .most of Ukrainian economy is on the knees due to the war started by Russia, of course it urgently needs the money (in this case the tax from the wheat sales), as well as the farmers which were producing it. Would you like to work hard for one year to make a living and then give all of your work away for free? I guess not... Edit typo/autocorrect
