  3.  @cageybee7221  I ain't kidding. According to Greece's own statistics only about 10% of the population file taxes. Most of the ones that do are businesses and rich people who can't avoid it and most of them hire professionals accountants to help them cheat. Even the government itself cheats. They hired an investment bank to hide much of their national debt allowing them to borrow more at a lower interest rate and to meet the EU's criteria to adopt the Euro. The end result is they drove themselves bankrupt paying for social services they couldn't afford.
