I was expecting a lot of political BS in this, but THIS vice reporter doesn't let politics into his report at all. +1

Murphy's Law says eventually one of these guys will be busted for selling unmarked guns to gangsters.

Politics is always quite schizophrenic.

Of course guns are art, because murder is beautiful! (SARCASM)

You sure they're spending valuable time on that when there are cartels and street gangs buying/stealing weapons any way they can?

Wut?

19:35 You say the gun laws in "Europe" are vary strict, but really in varies wildly between states. Switzerland's gun laws are very loose, while in England most cops don't have guns.

@Justjennsworld no, pedophile is a psychopath who likes children before puberty. The man in question had an underaged GF. I actually ran into this problem when I was a jailer. We had one 24 year old that was arrested for having a 15 year old GF and a huge bag of weed. I told him not to tell other inmates what he was in for because they might jump to conclusions.

Wrong inferrence made in intro. The firerate of a SMG hardly indicates quality as recoil, accuracy, and reliability are big issues. Especially with these 3d printed guns.
1
@ChevTecGroup shut up, you don't know what you're talking about.
1
That's probably the only reason they ain't more common.

@KrucialKB will that printer make machinist grade parts?
1
You don't know a thing about military affairs, so shut up and get drafted. My old friends at Benning could teach you something.
1
Come on, you know better. Some people around here will indiscriminately support any gun control regulation even if they have no idea what it's for.

These ain't cheap. It takes 10 grand of equipment and skilled machinist a full day to make an inferior product. To compare, licensed manufacturers have assembly lines and millions of dollars of equipment that can make better guns with few man hours.

@trickytrent5146 not one that can print to the standards needed to make a gun. A nice one is easily 6 grand and I saw one large printer selling for 67 grand.
1
@trickytrent5146 no, I don't 3d print. But I understood a lot of cheap printers simply don't have the precision that moving parts require.
1
@trickytrent5146 oh.
