  3. A lot of Americans get angry when any given portion of history didn't involve major crimes. For instance, the Trail of Tears happened and most of the casualties were due to mismanagement and logistics difficulties, but no American Indian tribe ever committed or was victim to genocide.

  4. I'd have to check to see if this disaster effected diplomacy on that. Because I distinctly recall the US INSISTED that POWs return wherever they wanted and NOT be returned geographically. The North Korean Ambassador stormed out.

  8. Don't assume you even need to come to any conclusions on the matter. I personally wouldn't pass any judgement on anyone's act during a prison riot. The prisoners were just trying to escape, the guards shot prisoners trying to escape.
