  1. Something people should remember when someone is diagnosed as "mentally ill". Those symptoms are self reported. You must take the person believed to be "mentally ill" serious. There are documented cases of people who researched mental illness specifically to set up a defense so they could get away with it. Or a lesser sentence. The other thing is the "expert" giving their diagnostic opinion. They have agendas too. It's not unusual for one to argue with another dr about the diagnosis. Rotten behavior and choices are not always "mental illness ". Sometimes it's just a dirtbag in a facade.

  3. Whip out the WHINE. Whip out the verbal abuse. Whip out the laundry list of diagnostic terms people use to try and excuse their behavior and poor me professional victim mode. Immediately cue fake tears, sanctimonious outrage, false claims and outright LIES. Immediately deploy the professional victim textbook and victimology textbook.
