  3.  @tiagodagostini  Ukraine was helpless in 2014 during the "green men" incident, so the Crimea was ultimately annexed by the much bigger Russia. After that, Ukraine desperate to look for any help. But not joining NATO yet. You forget that Georgia got invaded by Russia in 2008 despite not a NATO member or like Moldova in 1992 Transnistria Crisis.. in which Moldova itself was a result of Russia's intervention (Moldova was separated from Romania, by Moscow. Moldova was actually a part of Romania).

  4. Obviously now only China which on par with USA. Thanks to the knowledges they gained from Russia (legal or not legal like copying Sukhoi fighter jets) and from the hacking through "Operation Aurora" which included database from Lockheed Martin. Russia is far behind and was being stepped upon by China. Twice: now and back then during the Sino-Soviet Split.

  6. Tiago D'Agostini You forget that the root of resentments of the Ukrainians (and Poland plus Baltic states in larger extent) toward Russia can be traced back long before USA became superpower in 1945 or before NATO was even formed in 1949.

  8.  @kymanibrown8039  Huh? Lenin invaded Ukraine, Poland (but failed), and Baltic countries to incorporate them into Russian/Soviet Union territory through war in 1917-1920. US wasn't even a superpower at this point. Armenia, Georgia, Caucasus muslims region were messed around by Russian Empire in 19th century.
