Plus India and Indonesia is not a single ethnostate (like Nazi Germany or P.R.China), their diaspora generally loyal and assimilate well to each of the countries which they live. P.R.China on the other hand is not.. it is exactly authoritarian, single ethnostate. P.R.China since Mao Zedong times had already set its aim to defeat US (see Korean War?). And now it is using chinese diaspora for its own ambition by using "ethnonationalism" rhetorics which is dangerous. So yes, it is a huge blunder for you who invested in China so much.

  5. "Fairly okay for African standards". Welp. Except not really. Libya pissed off Egypt and the twos involved in a war in 1977. Mozambique & Tanzania were also in war with Libya & Uganda. Then Libya invaded Chad in 1978. Plus, even Gaddafi's Libya was interfering in foreign countries despite THOSE COUNTRIES NEVER INTERVENED in Libyan internal affairs.. e.g. Gaddafi supported the Shining Path rebels in Peru & Acehnese separatism movement in Indonesia.

  10. I think this Gyrocopter is used for Antitank purpose.. it's a faster & easier to get onto hilly terrain and ambush enemy tanks from there, than to hike all the way to it.

While their sole argument about favoring China is because how China enabled them to own affordable products. Now most of Android smartphones are of Chinese brands, none of them from US. Same with commercial drones, cars, electronic products, even home appliances (ladders, flashlight, knife, ricecooker, dishwasher, etc) . That's China's softpower. Unforfunately.

While China, despite clearly being propagandaistic at all opportunities, is using softpower through its trade (smartphones, affordable electronic products, affordable cars, etc) so it stays popular. That's the reality.

Well you forgot the part where Korea is the one who gives Turkey access to their Black Panther MBT in order to build Turkish Altay MBT, when nobody in the NATO is willing to give their technology to Turkey. German engineering is actually more pragmatic than French quirky engineering (MAS-49, Hotchkiss Type Universal, FAMAS, MAS AA-52 GPMG, etc).
