In contrary, should be careful of what Putin is planning. It's possible that Russia withdrawing its troops from Kherson to prepare for the next winter offensive, where Ukraine is vulnerable because they have been battered and couldn't prepare properly by this prolonged war. Ukraine should push its diplomatic efforts to gain help from NATO and non NATO countries

@clauz8986 One of the reasons are that many of EU products got copycat by China and in 2019 EU steel products which entered China market were imposed by tariffs while China was dumping the EU market with steel products.

@mrsupremegascon While I'm against US foreign policies, I'm still relieved of what South Korea and Japan have become. China itself was not that much a reliable country too. They immediately tried to subjugate Vietnam after Vietnam War (which was backed by Soviet Union, China's rival after Sino-Soviet Split), when Vietnam's policy was not inline with China's will. China tried to invade Vietnam in 1979 but failed. China is continuing to copy Russia's weapon products without licenses even after alliance now (Sukhoi fighter for example). And Cambodia plus Laos were all turned into casino and money laundering nests by China.

@RabbitShirak China is homogenous. 98% ethnic Han Chinese. Even the Hui, Manchu, people of Yunnan, etc are basically chinese with different dialects.

The crack in ASEAN unity is showing though. Laos and Cambodia leaders are corrupt, currently they supported China's 9 Dash Lines and Cambodia is holding naval Chinese base in there (oh they are not learning the Chinese-backed Khmer Rouge tragedy which wiped out their intellectuals huh). Myanmar and Thai are under military junta which also corrupt and leaning toward China.

@BryantMoore87 Turkey is a young country, compared to Greece in Asia Minor. Basically, Turks today are just Turkicized & islamicized Greeks/Byzantines (after the fall of Constantinople).

@Jugurtha_Rex_Numidiae It's the other way. Original Turks actually looked like Kyrgyz or Kazakhs, eurasian feature. When they came to Anatolia they meddling with locals and became more Greek/Asia Minor phenotypes. Greeks had been in Anatolia for more than just 500 yrs, before the Turk conquest. Many Greeks conquered were also converted to Islam & joined the Turkish society.

Simple research discovered that it was Trump first who imposed tariffs on countries (Canada, The EU, Mexico) which are US allies in 2017-2021, especially on steel and aluminium under the excuse of "national security". In response, they followed by imposing their own tariffs on US. Then Trump imposes additional tariff in 2025 when he became president again. 2.) Sanction? Well, Pakistan & China were already on sanction from US before Trump presidency in 2025. But they still got tariff. But why Trump doesn't put additional tariff to Putin? Especially since without tariff on Putin, Putin invasion to Ukraine won't stop. Of course, because Trump is Putin's asset. Russian oligarchs helped Trump bailed out from bankruptcy.

By this logic, Soviet Union should have surrendered to the Nazi Germany because it's Stalin's fault despite Nazi Germany who invaded Soviet. Or Finnish people should have surrendered because instead of Soviet fault, it's magically become their fault, despite it's Soviet who started the war and invaded Finland. @nicholasconder4703 Well yesterday I read Reuters news.. British Armed Forces sent help to Ukraine in preparation for winter. Hopefully other countries also help Ukraine. Still need to be careful though. Putin is paranoid and unpredictable. Slava Ukraini.

@SpookyJohnathan Also, Indonesia never did an ethnic cleansing on ethnic Chinese, their population still at large. They were never put into concentration camps and allowed to do normal business. Indonesia is heterogenous. Unlike China which is homogenous (98% ethnic Han Chinese).. who is the racist ones? The limitations imposed on non-Ethnic Han Chinese, especially the Uighurs who were put into concentration camps. And important to note that ethnic Chinese Indonesians should not consider themselves P.R.China nationals.. since their ancestors mostly moved out from China during Qing Dynasty and P.R.China is totally on different time period.
