Ukraine lost 90% of its shoreline and EEZ, it must continue to fight to take back what it has lost.

@gerri577 According to the Budapest Memorandum (1994), Russia accepted to respect Ukraine's territorial integrity. Thus legally Crimea is Ukrainian territory.
21
@gerri577 The Crimean referendum took place after Russia invaded (remember the "little green men" without insignia). The referendum does not cancel the Budapest Memorandum signed by Russia.

@bouilu7519 Wasn't the Golden Horde a Mongolian Khanate? So the Russian language is a Mongolian/Altaic language?
16
@VsevolodSidorenko I understand.
9
@marvin2678 Would you emigrate?
9
But aren't Russian and Ukrainian languages the same? Are they different languages?
6
@andrewnorris5415 Why didn't Putin show that paper earlier? Why wait so long?
5
@andrewnorris5415 The Russian army never managed to surround Kiev in 2022.
5
Stalin was first and foremost a communist, it didn't matter that he was Georgian. Stalin imposed the Russian language and Russian domination in the USSR, he didn't care for other cultures in the USSR.
3
@jirehrophe NATO must first ask permission to Ukraine in order to place nukes there. Without permission NATO cannot do it.
3
What you say makes no sense. Ukrainians fight because they want to fight.
3
Optimism is needed to have a good army morale. Without optimism the army would start to surrender or refuse to fight.
2
Moscow doesn't deserve to take Ukraine after what happened in the Holodomor.
2
@jirehrophe NATO did not want to place nuclear missiles in Ukraine.
2
Why don't you understand that the Ukrainians themselves do not want Russian occupation?
2
Ukraine is not North Korea, the people fight because they want to fight.
2
Are you sure the Conservatives will stop the funding and allow Russia to take Ukraine? Isn't that political suicide for the Conservatives?
2
@leonardoorellano6652 If the Memorandum is not legally binding then Russia must give back the nukes Ukraine had. Ukraine gave away those nukes in exchange of recognition of its sovereignty and territorial integrity.
2
Ukrainians don't want Russian occupation. Get that into your brain.
2
If you call suffering and dying in a war as "welfare state", then you have a problem.
2
@micopeco6016 Oh come on!! Seriously?
2
Why don't you understand that the Ukrainians do not want Russian occupation?
2
But NATO does not give full support to Ukraine, NATO sends only small quantities of weapons and ammunition, very few planes, very few tanks.
1
Seriously? The Ukrainian leadership is not Ukrainian? How so?
1
That is because you don't realize that the women must take care of the children. They cannot go to war and leave the children without support.
1
And Russia destroyed its favorable view among Eastern Ukrainians by starting this invasion. Now they don't love Russia anymore.
1
@VisualHistoryBangla The Ukrainian government cannot simply allow Russia to occupy parts of Ukraine, the people will not allow it, thus they fight, they cannot surrender now and let Russia win a glorious victory.
1
What you say makes no sense. What "Khazarians" are you talking about? Are you drunk?
1
What you say makes no sense. If they don't want to fight why don't they surrender?
1
Where did you hear that? Russia doesn't want war with NATO.
1
The cost of the war is not a big problem, the EU and NATO are rich. Indeed, negotiations are needed, but can Ukraine trust Russia? What assurances does Ukraine have that Russia will not invade again after some time?
1
What bioweapons labs? Where are the images from such labs? Where is the evidence?
1
@gerri577 Yes because in 2014 East Ukraine (Donbas) separatists started a war with Russia's help in order to separate from Ukraine.
1
Where? In what sector of the front? Donbas? Zaporozhye?
1
NATO expanded East because the former Warsaw Pact countries of Eastern Europe wanted to join NATO.
1
Germany didn't cut any peace deal. Germany surrendered after it was crushed by the Allies. The same happened to Japan.
1
@quartermaster1976 Ukrainians don't want to surrender, they don't want Russian occupation.
1
An attack on the Baltic countries is an attack on NATO. Russia doesn't want war with NATO.
1
How so?
1
Don't exaggerate. Russia doesn't want war with NATO, Russia is not capable of defeating NATO in a conventional war.
1
@marvin2678 Oh come on!! Seriously? LOL!!
1
Exactly.
1
Maybe because Russia believes that NATO wants to dominate Russia by expanding into Ukraine. Russia considers Ukraine as its front yard, as a part of its sphere of influence.
1
Yes, but the referendums took place after Russia invaded and the war started in 2014. The separatists from Donbas had military support from Russia, otherwise they would have been defeated.
