  194.  @BleedingSnow  Germany had an oil crisis because its army was dependent on oil now more than ever, Germany was expanding its army in the 1930s, made many tanks, warplanes, more warships, they all needed a lot of fuel, hence the German oil crisis. Even so, despite of the so called boycott Germany received oil from Romania and from the USSR. The boycott itself was almost useless from the start.

  204. Because Britain and France were already at war with Germany when the USSR invaded Poland (two weeks later), it would have been suicide for Britain and France to declare war on the USSR too, Britain would have lost the war.
