  1. Knowing nothing about guns I always thought of the m16 as 'the' iconic assault rifle. The AK-47 was definitely familiar to me, though I don't know if I associated it with the term assault rifle 🤔. I was never really a fan of them either. Although, I did really respect what I heard in regard to its reliability.
