  1. I don’t think people understand that Russia isn’t interested in negotiating with Ukraine. It doesn’t consider Ukraine a nation that requires their consideration with respect to diplomatic relations. It’s just a territory available for the taking that servers “the greater good “ of the Russian Federation. The only country Russia will negotiate with in any kind of meaningful way, is America, UK, China and maybe France. Power only respects equal and stronger power.
