@ Wanderer628 If you are going to get involved in technical discussions its best not to show your ignorance. The 'poisoning pilots' and 'faulty helmets' was the F22 not the F35 my friend. Now where I DO agree with you that (F22) was one very expensive aircraft indeed ... and even the USA bottled out at 187 aircraft. The F35 will be a huge success if only because we Brits are involved in the programme and will judge our American 'friends' when they cock up as they did with the F22. Sad we can't have the F136 RR engine on the UK aircraft...
