  1. These researchers have the right approach. We need well constructed clinical studies to determine what the best practices actually are. Instead we have politicians and media personalities telling us what they think is best for us based on untested assumptions and anecdotal evidence. This is the true herd mentality. I would not be surprised if a year or two from now the current crop of pundits and experts are vilified and sued for the well-meaning demands they fostered on the public.
