Its all very well for you, to say that it is obvious that that is what they ought to do, but it isn't your face that will be lost! The second is, after the negotiations are suxxessful and we have peace, what is going to happen to the culprits that caused this war? What are the post-war prospects for the Ukrainian regime like? You are asking them to embrace the consequences of their failure and risk being prosecuted for war-crimes and God alone knows what else..

  2. 1:10:37 Yes, of course it would have been better if the CW had accepted the compromise offered in March 2022, but that was never on the cards! The idea, the whole purpose of the sanctions and the attack on the Russian speakers in Donbas, was to FATALLY weaken the Russian state and bring about Regime Change in Moscow and to be rid of The Hated Putin!! The CW did not give up on that idea, their age-old dream, in March-April 2022, because at that time, they were still grossly underestimating the Russians in every respect. They still thought that the Russians were going to collapse in short order under the avalanche of sanctions and the attack of the large, well-trained (By NATO!) army.
