  1. I have a "cold cure" that has worked very well for me. When I catch cold, I take 500mg of Vitamin B5 (aka pantothenic acid) and about 250mg of vitamin C, with water, every four hours for a couple of days. Usually that is sufficient to cure it completely. If it doesn''t cure it by the end of the second day, I give up, as it is evidently not the usual cold but something else. Also, enough Vitamin D3 is necessary for a well-functioning immune system. Most people in Northern regions are probably sub-clinically deficient in this vitamin, particularly as the RDI is set ridiculously low, around 400i.u./day. 10,000i.u. is more like it but is too expensive for most people.
