40:52 I think you will find that this sort of welcome to a visiting head of State is fairly standard in China. I remember reading an account of a senior official of a fairly small African country who accompanied his Head of State, his President, on a visit to China. He was absolutely astonished at the welcome they got and he contrasted it with a visit that he and his president had made to Washington shortly before this visit. They got the same treatment as Lukashenko, by the sound of it, in Beijing, while in Washington, they had been met at the airport, by a fairly junior official from the State Department and taken by a State Department car to where they were staying. It is part of the Chinese effort to treat all countries as "more or less equal". All equally deserving of respect. They have, in the past, been treated with gross disrespect themselves and do not want to be seen doing it to other countries themselves.
