This is a really bizarre story about Biden! His account of "flying over Tibet with Xi Jinping" is I think entirely fictional and it puts me in mind of dealings I had with two family members, who were suffering from Alzheimer's disease. One of them, when I asked if they had eaten, replied that they had and when I asked where, said "I ate there." pointing at the television, which happened to be showing a restaurant scene in a soap opera, at the time. On another occasion I was out for a walk with another sufferer and the conversation, which up to that point had been apparently completely rational, turned to the recent visit by astronauts to the Moon. He said: "I went to the Moon when I was an undergraduate." I asked: "Where did you take off from?" "From the University Rugger grounds." He replied. "Who built the rocket?" I asked. "Oh, I and two of my friends built it in the college's boat house." I am quite sure that in both cases what they said was sincerely believed.
