  1. New engine or repair or new car. Decisions, decisions. Some people can't afford either. Question: My, bought new, 2001 Mazda Tribute has 270k+ miles. Lots of money put into it and runs fairly well. Original engine, new trans. Should I buy a used SUV, that will be newer? Trouble is I would start the parts replacement all over again. My present SUV has mostly new parts.
