@taiwanstillisntacountry You want to check the history of the French in the first part of ww2 they did well and their air force shot down vast numbers of German aircraft that could have been used against the UK I doubt Napoleon did any fighting, but the French did in numerous wars I am a Brit and i was surprised to read about the French in ww2

@ramsayelias619 You forget to mention the Free French, other french forces in Africa, the two squadrons of French SAS, others who came to UK in the other forces before the Free French were organised. Yes some did surrender on order from above, but France fought on until 1945 too.
