Corridors for the US to invade and control land in other nations, also corridors are targeted killing zones detrimental to the troops using them, the nations that host them, and the civilian populations in those areas that then become collateral damage. Not to mention the damage caused by the US military and its technicians in support, and the need to acommodate and supply the support forces . Then there is the potential for black ops special forces to attack and disrupt those routes, blow bridges, roads, passes, tunnels, supply pipelines, power lines etc etc classic guerrilla warfare. and cause major damage to any nation hosting those routes.
