  1. It's an excellent tactic on the part of the Libertarian government. While the people are struggling to survive, give them the opportunity to sacrifice their social security to get a few dollars in the hand now. The Libertarians have learned well to trust in the desperation, apathy, and ignorance of the average person - especially under times of stress. They understand those who are struggling for survival and only think short-term will gladly trade away their futures for a few breadcrumbs now. Those who understand the plutocrats behind the current administration (e.g. Koch), understand that these plutocrats have been attempting to remove Social Security since at least 1980. If you review the original Libertarian platform which David Koch ran on in his 1980 campaign for VP, you will find, “We favor the repeal of the fraudulent, virtually bankrupt, and increasingly oppressive Social Security system. Pending that repeal, participation in Social Security should be made voluntary.” So, you shouldn't be surprised when you see the Koch puppets in the White House pushing this idea. Well, if the current administration fails to carry out Charles Koch's wishes, there are multiple YouTube videos available where Biden said he would annihilate Social Security when given the opportunity to do so.
