I don't think comparing Craddock to Jon Sul or however you spell his name is right & actually is really ridiculous!!! Because like you said Craddock did what he could & faced the enemy and ultimately died because of it. He knew he was facing a superior force that was also faster than his ships & imho Craddock fought & died with honor. Comparing that to Jon Sul who got a lot of his men killed because he was too lazy to tell his superiors the full extent of the ultimatum he was given is preposterous considering that Jon Sul did not die in the process & his ass was NOT on the line. I think a person like Jon Sul would have left his slower ship to it's fate and ran as quickly as possible back to the bigger guns. I do believe that when Craddock first tried to engage battle he should have sent the slower ship west & then tried to engage. That way when Von Spee pulled away to wait til sunset his slower ship would have been gone leaving his faster ships to try to hot foot it back to the bigger guns. However, in hindsight it's easy to say such things. Yet Craddock = faced superior force knowing that they would die horribly= hero!!!! Jon Sul a sniveling weiner that got men in his command killed because he was lazy & thought he was better than everybody= sniveling weiner

Considering Warspite's steering problems after Jutland. Well, from an engineering perspective what was really happening was every now & again the wobbling pin was falling out of the wiggling hole but the pin was too long to fall out completely. So the wobbling pin would fall back into the wiggling hole & everything would be alright again. But where the wobbling pin was, was too far back in the machinery spaces for the engineers to see that the wobbling pin needed replacement. More or less.😊

Wow, talking about curves like that reminds me of my wife. She was 5 foot nothing. But had an hour glass figure that would make you have to pick your chin up off the floor. She actually caused a traffic accident walking home from the pool in her bikini one day. Normally, the clothes she would wear mostly covered up her figure. The first time I saw her in that bikini. OmG. It was like a work of art she looked so good. She passed away Christmas Eve 2015. And since then it's been difficult to even be attracted to anyone else.❤😢 And it wasn't just what she looked like either. She broke the mold & then some.
