  1. Interesting video. It helped me remember the kind of things that used to give me culture shock so many years ago when I first came here. The last woman who you interviewed mentioned about alcohol…and I remembered how shocked I was to see how my (usually quite serious) co-workers acted when they got drunk at work parties. I was pretty shocked the first time one of my (male) co-workers took his clothes off and danced around the ‘izakaya’ in front of everyone. And THEN almost equally shocked when everyone acted like nothing unusual has happened the next day at work! 😂 (And it wasn’t the only time…)
