  2. @peterharrison511  it's an archaeological trench not a coal mine, there aren't giant excavators flailing around, and the people digging are using hand trowels and brushes. They are wearing all that ludicrous safety gear because some petty bureaucrat, who has never dug a hole, is ticking boxes on a form.
