No, the fundamental error was agreeing to the terms of negotiation, as set by the EU. That was accepted by Teresa May/Ollie Robbins - both traitors and working to the EU agenda to 'lock' us in to EU control by proxy. We didn't need to do that, nor did we even need to agree to negotiate via EU channel. We should have said we'd only negotiate trade with individual states, who are sovereign. The EU is NOT a sovereign state.

@znail4675 No, as we'd be dealing directly with sovereign nations that had a willingness to do a direct deal, without asking 27 + EU to agree to it. As an example, we could have done a deal with Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and Finland as a group as they have no 'skin in the game' in regards to fishing in UK waters. Once these third-party deals started to be inked and get off the ground, other EU nations would want to do the same thing so as not to be excluded from the UK market, while other nations continued to trade with us. That is just common sense and good business.

@znail4675 Brexit is not an absurd fantasy, no is it impossible for single EU members to conduct negotiations directly with the UK. That is what the Dutch, Finns and Danes ARE doing, they just don't admit to it.

@znail4675 Then its will definitely be 'No Deal'. That'll be their loss as the EU are currently our largest supplier of goods. The UK can look elsewhere. I doubt German auto manufacturers will find another market so easily.
