  1.  @PaulAmerican  Your comment is itself part of the problem that has America where it is today. You say the question is which 'side' will be victorious. If you mean either Left or Right, then the answer is neither - both will lose. That is because the issue is not about either left or right being victorious, but about the freedoms you currently enjoy being taken away from EVERY American, however they vote. The real question is, WHO is really behind this elimination of freedom of speech and expression? That will answer the why THEY are they doing it.

  2. Well, there has been an awful lot of talk about 'land of the free and home of the brave'. However, from what I can see from this side of the 'pond' it at least seems that all the real patriots must be asleep. Wake up America, before your freedoms are stolen in the night.

  4.  @kristianmelms8096  I have to say, I think Europeans are more critical of their political party's they tend to vote for, never mind the opposition. It the US its just a simple Dems vs GOP. There seems to be very little vibrant debate on the real motivations behind these party's at all. Everyone was asleep at the wheel.

  7. The US is doomed as is the self-destructive polorised identity politics. I say that with a great sadness in my heart. What happened to the America I used to visit with my late Dad in the 1970's? Everyone just got along. Gone and unlikely to return. Terminal decline of a really great nation.
