  3. They still do, you just don't see or hear what they're up to. We don't show off or talk about what we're doing in regards to any sector of defence technology, it's just not our way..The car parks at BAE at Wharton are always full every day - even in the worst of down-turns. So the money is still being spent on the boffins developing 'stuff'.

  7.  @lunachu8691  No, I wouldn't as they were GENUINE refugees escaping from Nazi Germany. Those crossing the channel today are not escaping from anything like that situation, unless you mean Macron's 'war-torn' France?
