  2. Well, hopefully at least your incumbant MP is a Brexiteer? The BP stand down has left over 100 Remain leaning Tory MPs in place with little choice for leave voters. Just crazy and it'll come back to haunt both the BP and Boris and the ERG.

  4.  @dlogan3099  Johnny, I'm an ROI national myself. I've yet to meet either an Irish/British politician that doesn't claim they've gone out of their way to get funding for their 'constituency'. However, I don't know of any Irish/British MEP's getting the sack from their local electorate solely on the issue of failing to get EU project funding. Irish politics is very local not EU focused, but certainly more so than over here in England. Admittedly, this is not a big issue where I live either - SE England as EU funding is unusually an option.

  5.  @MrRRHHMM  He does. but from what he is saying, the decision to stand down seems to have been taken by Farage alone. It'll be the end of the BP and certainly near the end of any decent Brexit. What we have now is BRINO - May's deal version III. Just goes to show, the ERG six months ago would never have voted for such that type of deal, but then along comes an election and the Tories all jump back into line. Rees Mogg a conviction politician? I think not.

  7. The question that she SHOULD have asked but didn't was 'So, if this ' BRINO' Treaty is so Bad, who's decision was it then to stand down the BP in Tory Remainer constituencies?' Farage needs to take the hit on that decision, not people like Habib who obviously wouldn't have done that.

  8. Habib comments just show the Brexit Party is devided over the current Tory 'Deal'. They should never have stood down until Boris withdrew his support for that deal. Suicidal decision by the BP to stand down. This is a BRINO deal that will leave us worse off than staying in.
