  1. LRH came of age in a time when it was extremely unusual to have a neutral or positive view of homosexuality. When he developed Scientology, it was still considered a mental illness by medical establishment. It does not necessarily tell us anything about LRH that he shared this completely mainstream view. Today it's just an embedded artifact of a bygone era. It should serve as a red flag for any decent person to warn them against getting involved in this horrible cult. By the time society progressed beyond this fallacy, it was already baked into Scientology.
