@mattwaf lol. Tell that to the 40,000 some odd Americans that committed suicide in 2008 when the market crashed. People don't own debt, debt owns people.

@mattwaf all true. Especially the crystal ball part. And I agree that Canada is screwed if interest rates go up. Maybe we just disagree on the meaning of "hot potato"?
