@sergedaoust1754 I'm asking a common sense straightforward question that you are incapable of answering.
You don't have ideas, ideas have you.
This is actually quite uncomfortable, because you don't exist. Just the ideas.
I already know what you're going to say before you say it, because nothing you say is actually coming from you. Only cliches and ad hominem attacks.
This is called 'ideological possession'.
If you would like to learn more about 'ideological possession', I would point you towards the children's book 'Peter Pan'
The problem with being king of Neverland is: Neverland does not exist, so you are the king of nothing.
This was also conceptualized in the children's book 'Pinocchio'.
On 'pleasure Island' you do not have to face your former presuppositions. You stop saying what is meaningful, and you start saying what is expedient.
You lose your voice and become a braying jackass.
Tell the truth. Be a real boy.
Your inability to name a safer time in history completely debunks your entire ideology, therefore you will not, and cannot answer that question.
Burning off Deadwood can be painful and you seem like a Tinder pile to me.
A burdensome bundle of sticks.
Please know, that you can lie to me, you can lie to others, but you cannot lie to your central nervous system and the false reports it will give you about the full reality of nature.
So when everything falls apart for you, it will not be karma, it will be biology.
Have a great day.

@sandorski56 yeah things can get worse. They could also get better, right?
It's actually impossible to know because of the exponential nature of variables through time... (see Al Gore) it comes up false again, and again, against everyone's presuppositions.
Did you know that before Fritz Hoffer figured out how to extract nitrogen from the air, the worlds leading economists believed the planet could only sustain 2 billion people?
Did you know that there's more trees on the planet now, than ever?
For a species that just woke up 60 years ago that we were actually stewards of the planet, I would say we're doing pretty darn good.
Do you know what percentage of each of the 192 agendas put forward in the Paris climate accord are being achieved?
80%?
50%?
What do you think the number is?
If energy austerity disproportionately affects poor people, who should dictate that policy?
The people taking flights into space?
Do you believe humanity is a scourge on the environment? If so, who do you believe deserves to 'leave'?
Between 2002 and 2012, the amount of people in abject poverty was halved, directly related to energy consumption.
Do you believe energy austerity is the answer?
If it's such an emergency, why don't we use nuclear?
(If you answer one question please answer this one)
I know that's a lot of questions but I really want to know what you think. Thanks
