Intergenerational suffering is well documented. So there's that. If there are people guilty of the crime of genocide do you think they should face justice? Can you imagine hearing stories from your parents and grandparents and knowing in your heart what happened? You knew about it all along, but is only just now coming to light? The Catholic Church hasn't even apologized. ZERO people have been convicted. Power corrupts and ultimate power corrupts ultimately. I believe the church and state need to be held to some account. Zero convictions is ridiculous IMO. If I was a survivor, I would be 100% pissed also. The church is still yet to even acknowledge what happened. 80% of child abusers were abused children.
