  2. Okay, you know your forest. It just seems like, from your video, that there was a substantial number of mature birch trees, some very close together that could stand culling. Hardwood: less creosote clean up on your chimney. I do a lot of firewood splitting, on large downed black and white oak log rounds, so big I have to use a log peavey and log hook to move them.
