  7. Buck Schaffenhausen No country thus far have left NATO or wanted to leave NATO. NATO have been part of Bosnia, Kosovo, Afghanistan, Iraq, Gulf of Aden and Libya. That's all post Soviet and Warsaw times. Russia have created a "new Warsaw pact" called "CSTO", consisting of many former Soviet countries like the Warsaw Pact.
