  3. Currently, California has no estate tax. So if they're going to now create an inheritance tax.... and to abstain from permitting a "stepped up basis cost" on the valuation of the assets, that would be a really, really big deal; any person who owned a lot of assets (under that scenario) would be foolish to remain in the state.

  4. @Some Guy I never "read" the book; I LISTENED to the audio book instead. Made much better use of my time that way.
