  2.  @johnfernandez2961  Real estate could do OK provided that: (a) the bond market behaves, and (b) nominal GDP remains positive. If inflation takes off, mortgage rates will rise sharply; under that scenario, real estate prices will be subject to forces pulling in opposite directions.
