NATO has been the source of war and instability for almost 100 years. Canada hasn't been in a defensive alliance for quite some time. We are, instead, a battle thrall to US interests.

Virtually everything you said is wrong, including this one: [Europe's done its expeditionary colonizing and they've moved on, they don't see enemies everywhere they look like the US.] Do you not recall recent headlines about Niger? France's Jacques Chirac warned if they didn't maintain control of their satellite countries, France would descend into 3rd world status. Europe is absolutely on the same page as the US - even more so. Do you recall they just outlawed purchases of $1K cash that would bring criminal charges? The only part right is that Canada should leave NATO, but not for any of the reasons you cited.
