Paul Embery is one of the few people on the left that gets the problems that are currently happening - he was pro Brexit and is against the lockdown for example. He has also admitted that the comprehensive system of secondary education has failed. Unfortunately, the only way for the left to come back is to dump Labour and have a new party, one that actually stands up for the working classes.
