  1. This was a mess. Google could have much better just by having a better presentation, with some awe inspiring ideas and basic fact checking. The error itself is normal, these AIs are known to be error prone, so why post a screenshot that is not fact checked.... what a mistake. Chatgpt gets things wrong lots of times too. Just yesterday it was telling me that trees are non-living organisms. I asked it to clarify and it went on to say trees don't grow or reproduce. These tools are already very helpful regardless of not being perfect and they are getting better very fast... Google should have focused on that.

  5. Probably didn't intend to release it at this stage. Later would likely integrate into their products as they keep doing with their ai tech. I think it's understandable when these models can get things deeply wrong, which as seen can reflect badly on the company.

  7.  @DanielOdhiambo-io  google's biggest mistake was not fact-checking. microsoft has done really well with the copilot ai. I think saying they are all about profit at all cost isn't completely accurate when Microsoft hardly even enforces their windows licenses when it comes to piracy.
