What is funny is the complicated BS texts they write about these buildings. An example of such ridiculous test I just came up with, but drives the point home: "This modernist building has its facade punctuated with avant time elements that are broken by structural elements in odd places. However, the whole notion creates a sense of purposeful asymmetry, as if it was balanced.". I call it BS, because as good programming (I'm a software developer, sorry) does not need comments, as code is self-explanatory, architecture should not need explanation as well, as a building should be self-explanatory.

Exactly. In fact, aging should be considered always, because a new building that looks "OK" now will turn into an eye sore later. Materials are very important in that regard. Concrete invariable ages poorly, besides being dehumanizing. Stone ages beautifully.
