  1. Things break and stay broken because of incompetence. As an electronics hobbyist that works with SMD chips, I would say that it is pretty easy to design some equipment that lasts 10+ years without maintenance. Anyway, first world problem. American consumers are intolerant to small snags like this.

  2. Kytch could be suing McDonalds for breaking a patent. The imitating product doesn't need to by a carbon copy or the one from Kytch. Neither it does need it to be reverse engineered from the original Kytch product. I must say that I support Kytch on this one.
